Portals: a door of their own

Clients, volunteers or students sign in and see only what is theirs.

A portal is a sign-in for the people you work with. Each portal is for one kind of person (clients, volunteers, students) and is backed by one of your lists, so a volunteer who signs in sees their own Volunteers record, their shifts, the files you shared, their invoices, and buttons to do things. Up to three portals per account.

Workspace settings, Add-ons, turn on Portals. It appears in the sidebar.

Create one#

  1. Open Portals and press New portal. Choose who it is for and which list holds their records. For clients, that is Contacts.
  2. Pick a look and write a welcome line people see before they sign in. See How a portal looks.
  3. Add the sections (next page). Start from the volunteer, client or blank template.
  4. The portal lives at trigig.com/portal/<its name>. Press Preview to see it as they see it.
