Send an invoice
Create it, send it, and what your customer sees.
- Open Invoices and press New. Pick the contact; their billing details fill in. Your default tax, payment terms and notes are already on it (set under Workspace settings, Brand & Invoicing).
- Add the lines: description, quantity, price. Add a discount or tax if you need them. Set the due date and payment terms, or keep your defaults.
- Choose a layout or your letterhead (set under Workspace settings, Brand & Invoicing).
- Press Send. The customer gets an email with a link.
What the customer sees#
A web page in your branding with the invoice, a Pay button that takes a card through your own Stripe account, and, if you allow them, buttons to ask for more time, accept a reduced amount, or write you a note. No account needed. You see when they opened it and for how long.
Tip:Invoices is hidden from the sidebar until you first use it. Switch it on under Workspace settings, Manage Lists.
Paid some other way#
Check, cash, or paid through something else: press Mark paid. It stops the reminders.
